曼彻斯特大学Philip Shapira教授来我院开展讲座
5月23日上午，曼彻斯特大学创新研究中心的Philip Shapira教授在我院开展了题为“Interpreting trajectories of nanotechnology research and innovation”的讲座。
讲座以纳米技术为例，探索了这一新兴技术在研究和创新中的关系，Shapira教授还进一步探讨了是否存在纳米技术悖论（Nanotechnology paradox）的问题。Shapira教授和同事在研究中对全球出版物、专利和纳米技术企业进行了分析，并对下一代纳米材料和系统的转型与适应过程进行了评估。这项研究将对纳米技术及其他新兴技术的预期管理和治理产生影响。
演讲结束后，Shapira教授耐心回答了现场老师和同学感兴趣的相关问题。此次讲座不仅得到了我院政策中心老师和研究生同学的热情参与，同时还吸引了其他学院和高校的老师和同学。

Philip Shapira is Professor of Innovation, Management and Policy at the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research, Manchester Business School, UK, and Professor of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Atlanta, USA. His interests include the assessment of emerging technologies, innovation management and policy, industry analysis, regional innovation, and policy evaluation.
